Jazzly Moné is an advocate for alternative string education and strives to create more versatile musicians. She maintains a private teaching studio where she provides individual lessons for students of all ages. Her students range from first time players to advanced violinists and fiddlers, and beginning to intermediate level viola and mandolin students. Jazzly takes a more modern approach to string education by teaching her students how to improvise, compose, and arrange their own music by ear in addition to formal classical training using the Suzuki and Essential Elements methods. She has been teaching violin for over 12 years and gained most of her valuable experience through teaching in Arizona State University’s String Project, her violin professor, Dr. Katherine McLin, and through her own personal experiences working in diverse musical settings. Miss Moné is currently teaching and accepting a limited amount of new students in person, local to Nashville, and online via Zoom and FaceTime throughout the country.
