She’s reliable, attentive to my playing in order to point out bad habits and other things that are invisible to me, always integrates music theory when appropriate and does well to explain it simply without sacrificing any clarity of content. She’s incredibly skilled as a musician which itself is inspiring, but unlike many other skilled musicians, she’s actually able to articulate what she’s doing and explain it clearly in a way that lends itself to being learned.
